Experience
Phixion Designs / Graphic Design Intern
Summer 2020 - Los Angeles, CA
As a design intern at a smaller agency, I was able to see the design process from start to finish. Picking up techniques and workarounds from design professionals. I spent the summer learning how to exceed client expectations while training myself to make better projects.
Arizona State University / Archive Curator
August 2020 - May 2021, Tempe, AZ
The archive was created at the start of the pandemic and I was lucky enough to be one of its first student hires. Curating the ASU archive gave me the freedom to create content that would provide future generations an insight into what life was like during the pandemic. I pitched ideas for content and executed the approved projects like ICU doctor interviews and COVID nurse documentaries.
Volunteer Work for COVID / Freelance Videographer and IT Support
March 2020 - Current
As the pandemic ravaged the community around me, I decided that sitting on the sidelines wasn't an option for me. I helped wherever I could. That started with Agave Pediatrics, I worked on a series of videos made for new parents that couldn't physically come into the office. It was on a range of topics from breastfeeding to water safety; everything new parents would need to know.
I also helped mortuaries across the valley by hosting Zoom calls for families unable to meet physically. I contacted families that would have otherwise buried their loved ones without properly saying goodbye. I set out to help as many families as I could during the pandemic. I worked with what I had and built on my efficiency as I did more. Through these acts I can look back on this time in history and say I made a difference in my community.
Advanced Branding Consultants / Marketing Intern
Summer 2019 - Phoenix, AZ
As a marketing intern, I planned and executed different strategies intended to increase turnover rate of in-store sales on behalf of DirecTV. I spent the summer of 2019 researching customer values and planning scripts with key trigger words that increate interest in DirecTV contracts.

Projects
Hidden Gems: https://hiddengems.fun/Capstone Project - ASU
January 2021
Worked with a group of 5 to develop a new website for the ASU community. It served as our introduction into back end user management. We set up a database and remote CPU to host our site. Hidden Gems is a place for ASU alumni and current students to submit their favorite locations located around the different campuses along with a description of their memory there. It would serve as a community blog so new students can engrain themselves in the culture of the school almost immediately and shed light on legendary spots on campus.
Out There Series:

The Out There series is a project I want to build on as I grow older. It is a collection of my favorite photos from the places that I've been. It serves as a physical memory bank and portfolio for my design style as I develop as a creator.
